Chat Rules
Swearing is allowed on occasion. HOWEVER, do not over use this privilege. You will be warned once and then muted if you use consecutive or excessive curses. The use of racism, and mocking of others will
not be acceptable.
The F-word (you know what we mean) will not be allowed in main, guild, or any other chat channel. If you are caught using that word, you will be automatically muted at the moderators desired time frame without warning. If you over abuse this word, then it will be means for jail or automatic banning. The word shall not be used in any manner that spells the full word out. Saying F***, WTF, are ALLOWED, saying it any other way is not.
Insulting players in a joking manner is NOT allowed. Some players do not take insults very well, and what is OK and FUNNY to you is NOT to the other person. Serious insulting will result in a mute and if it continues then you will be jailed.
Sexual talk in chat is limited, this includes joking, public and guild talk, or message board. This kind of talk is mostly for Mail and PM's only. If you are requested to stop because it is offending people, please stop.
Do not post a message that you are selling/buying something. You will be warned and muted if you continue to do such. The Trading Board has been set up for you to do your trading.
Do not beg in main chat. This includes begging for money, weapons, armor, gems and any other items you may think of. You will be warned ONCE and then muted if you choose to beg again.
Do not spam which is posting multiple messages in a row of the exact same thing or about the same thing. Spamming will result in one warning and then a mute. If you encourage a player to spam, you will be warned and muted as well.
Do not post messages with excessive capital letters.
Please speak English only in main public chat.
Guild ads are limited to one per guild every hour. Failure to follow this rule will result in a mute.
Staff Related Issues
Don't ask for fight resets. This occurs once a day and only once a day.
If an ADMIN OR HIGHER asks you to do something, please do it. If a mod warns you not to do something, then don't do it anymore. Just because something isn't in the chat rules doesn't mean you can do it as much as you want. Submiting tokens and mail to staff over what you feel is Unfair is OK if you ONLY SEND ONCE.
If you feel what a MOD or Higher has said not do was done unfairly, you must submit a token to have it resolved, and in the mean time, you must do as your ask by staff! This is the only way we resolve any actions that any staff hands out if you feel it should not be a rule or should be.
Don't ask or beg to be a moderator or any other LoN position. Please do not bother current staff or moderators in chat, PMs, or in-game messaging about wanting to be a moderator or other LoN position. Asking to be a moderator or other position will decrease your chances of being asked to hold such a position. Moderators and other LoN positions will be chosen according to their abilities and by the staff at their discretion and when needed.
The staff, admins, and moderators have the rights to warn, mute, and if needed ban at their discretion. Over contesting by multiple players will result in warnings for all parties as well as possible muting for each. It.s best to take the punishment, correct the problem, and go on enjoying the game.
You must submit a token if you feel unfairly treated by any staff. This is the only way to resolve actions and create a new rule so such actions do not happen again, either by staff or players.
It is very important that you follow all rules, and any request by any staff memeber in chat. If ANY staff ask you todo anything, comply with it right then, submit a token and/or mail to staff only once! It will be addressed, and resolved. Not doing as your told, submitting a ticket only causes more problems, and this is no way to get action done, this is no way to get a rule took out or added.
Respect and obey Staff at all times.
Characters and Accounts
Player names that are found to be offensive by staff will be changed to something inoffensive. This includes making your name in all caps and any other derogatory words or slurs to the LoN staff and game. The staff reserves the rights to declare a name offensive and cannot be contested. If you change your name back to the offensive word, then you will be jailed with no warning.
You are NOT allowed to have another person access your character so they can level them. It makes the two accounts appear as multis and will result in jailing and possible banning of BOTH accounts.
Imitating staff is not allowed. Accounts with user names that are substantially the same as a staff member's user name will be jailed.
Do not use offensive names relating to sex, or racism.
Multiple accounts are not allowed. If you are found to be a multi you will be jailed and your accounts deleted.
If there is more then one person in your household/library/cyber cafe that play LoN, please send in a support token letting staff know the characters ID and player name.
**If you have more than one account on same IP, you and the other person are Required to submit a token
as soon as the second account is created, or before it is created. Failure to submit token right away
can result in jail time for both accounts and/or removal of second account. This is your only warning!**
Account Reset Rules
If you wish to restart you're character here are the way things work:
1. Any gear you curratnly have borrowed from you're guild return.
2. You are not allowed to give away anything of value, to any person or guild.
3. You are restarting, you cannot get anything you have given away to anyone as this constitutes gaining an unfair advantage on others of the same level in the game.
4. You must submit a support token, if you are a wizard you will be reset to warrior and vice-versa the only real choice you have is the element you're character will use.
5. You will be reset to lvl 1 and start just as if you were a brand new player to the game.
General
When new players ask for help please be considerate towards them and guide them towards our help files.
Do NOT use ANY form of automation to play this game, a definition would be a program that is used to click for you.
